Retreat Guru Goes On Retreat
With Trisha Wilson, Jo Ann Lowell and Us
April 27, 2018
Invitation to a day-long retreat!
This is a day long retreat to pause, reflect and refresh. It’s an opportunity to listen deeply and honour the changes we are all experiencing personally, together. We‘ll meditate, do yoga and be out in nature exploring self care and ways to befriend fear. We’ll also do a bunch of eating, reflecting and sharing together, because that’s just what we do.
Our aspiration is to offer at least 2 wakeful retreats a year so we can drink our own medicine. We do hope you all have the opportunity to attend at least one retreat a year.
Note: Tanin has already planted the seed to coordinate a retreat in the fall 2018, stay tuned…..

About Breathwork
About the breath circles I facilitate:
A bit of an overview for you: my first and foremost intention within any of my circles is that it feels safe. And with the conscious breath the place that I start with is with our own breath, exactly where it is right now. We can see a lot of how we are receiving life or letting go (or not) and the pattern in which we are living through our breathing. Our start point is there… with the understanding that there is no way that we can ‘do the breath’ wrong. We can individually make a choice to open up to more of ‘who we are’ or to let go of ‘what we are not’… by being curious with our breath…. or not. The choice is always up to the participant.
I believe that we are each our own healer. And that each of us can determine the rhythm or the rate in which we breathe during the breath circle. It is an opportunity for us each to become ‘friends’ with our own breath… which can become one of the most beautiful gifts we can give ourselves. It can be an opportunity to listen to what our calling is … and for listening to our needs.
In my experience dropping deeply into my conscious breath is one of the kindest things I can do… especially in the fast-pace of our day-to-day world. It allows a respite from the mind, it brings one back to the present moment, it gives one a sense of calm that one is in the driver seat, and the knowing that one can enter into a state of deep relaxation at any moment by bringing their awareness back to their breath.
